I purchased this for office wine storage (yes, I operate in a strange office). Assembly was straightforward as soon as I figured out where they had stored the screw-in front feet. (They are tucked in a corner in the styrofoam).
I wasn't pleased that the directions named for a few hours of settling ahead of powering it on, but I've had yet another wine fridge die on me within days of arrival (not this manufacturer or model), so I let it settle.
Settings are straightforward and it maintains the target temperature with nearly no noise.
On the downside, the shelves have these metal fronts on them (You can see them in the images. The shelves are just wire frame, but there is a front piece). You cannot insert or remove even a normal bottle without having sliding the shelf out. It is a minor nit, but my property fridge does not have this challenge, so it bothers me a bit.
We were a tiny worried when the box showed up. The exterior of the box was bashed in. The shippers clearly gave this item a "enjoyable" ride. Amazon or the manufacturer expected that, though, I guess. It was double boxed, and the inside box (and the product) had been fine.
I would purchase this item again.

I purchased this refrigerator as a birthday present for my husband, not really positive if it was one thing he'd like. Properly, as it turns out he loves it, regardless of a few limitations.
The unit came delivered in excellent condition. The only assembly that was necessary was to insert the shelves and install the door handles. The directions say to let the unit sit for 24 hours before plugging it in, but of course, we unpacked it and plugged it in prior to we saw the directions. I unplugged it as soon as I prepared that (so soon after perhaps 20 minutes) and then plugged it in once more the subsequent day. It was fine, and it got up to temperature especially quickly. I can not recall how quick, but fast.
The unit is extremely fairly. We have it in a back bedroom/play space, and you can sleep there with no getting bothered by the fridge.
Ok, so the weaknesses. We drink a lot of champagne, and the unit does not accommodate champagne bottles nicely. The shelves themselves are not metal and seem a little light for the $500-ish price tag tag, but they've been fine so far. Due to the fact the unit was not developed for champagne, it does not get super-cold, but cold sufficient for storage (46 degrees, I consider). We have beer and red wine in the other side, I consider at 50-something degrees.
I did a fair amount of study on wine refrigerators before I purchased this one particular. So far, I'm pleased with my acquire (it's been about a month). We'll see how I really feel a year from now.
